Bug Fixes

  • NeuralExpert did not configure the network to load the best weights before testing.
  • Genetic Optimization demo did not run properly on some computers.
  • The hardware keys were randomly becoming corrupted.
  • NeuroSolutions for Excel demos did not run properly if the Visual Basic run-time files (SP4 or higher) was not already installed on the user’s machine.
  • Custom Solution Wizard could not find the Visual C++ compiler if the Common directory was not located within the main Microsoft Visual Studio directory.

  • NeuralBuilder Help file updated to better describe interative prediction.

Bug Fixes

  • Probes did not display properly when iterative prediction was enabled.

NeuroSolutions 4.18

Bug Fixes

  • NeuroSolutions crashed when trying to build a Recurrent or Jordan/Elman network from NeuroSolutions for Excel.
  • The generated C++ code and the CSW DLLs did not compile if the breadboard included components that were overridden with DLLs.

NeuroSolutions 4.17

Bug Fixes

  • The System Resources dwindled when running a genetic training while the DataGraph probe was displaying the average cost or the network output.

NeuroSolutions 4.16

Bug Fixes

  • NeuroSolutions for Excel (v4.15 only): An error panel was displayed when a new network was created with the NeuralBuilder. The text of the message was "Error: There are no file components containing the Training data set."

Bug Fixes

  • Custom Solution Wizard: Fixed an error that occurred in the Excel project shell when the DLL was generated in recall-only mode (i.e. no desired output)
  • Custom Solution Wizard: Fixed an error that occurred in the VB and VC++ project shells when there was too much output data to be displayed in an edit box.

  • The input columns were not being selected properly when using a non-standard file extension.

  • The column lists were not being properly displayed within the NeuralExpert.

  • NeuralExpert was not able to read large data files.
