The procedure for constructing, training, and applying a trainined neural network has been further simplified in v3.0. In addition, we are releasing a brand new product, NeuroSolutions for Excel v1.0, which works hand-in-hand with NeuroSolutions v3.0. You simply highlight portions of your data as training, cross validation, or testing within your Excel spreadsheet, step through a few configuration panels, and you have a working neural network. Configure another panel and watch Excel graph the results from a batch of experiments. This powerful feature allows you to easily determine the optimum network parameters. With the OLE server compliance of v3.0, NeuroSolutions can be completely integrated within Excel and vice versa. In other words, you can include an Excel spreadsheet as part of your NeuroSolutions document, or include a NeuroSolutions document as part of your Excel spreadsheet. No more switching between applications to get your data into the network! In addition, this level of integration can be obtained with any other OLE application. One of the most powerful features new to v3.0 is the ability to write user-defined scripts. Any programming language that supports OLE (e.g., Visual Basic, Visual C++, Delphi, Fortran) can call every NeuroSolutions function. Add this capability to the NeuroSolutions C++ code generation and component customization through DLLs, and the functionality of this neural network development environment is virtually limitless.
