New Product Release - OptiGen Library 2.0

The new OptiGen Library is an object-oriented programming interface incorporating many powerful optimization techniques into one single package. The OptiGen Library combines the power of single- and multi-objective genetic algorithms, advanced attribute selection algorithms, and other optimization strategies such as simulated annealing into a common object-oriented interface. Use them to quickly and easily add advanced optimization techniques to your applications.

The OptiGen Library is includes these powerful features:

  • Generational and steady-state genetic optimization.
  • State-of-the-art multi-constraint and mutli-objective genetic optimization, including NSGA II.
  • Attribute selection methods such as extended versions of Greedy Search and Back Elimination.
  • Solution-based optimization methods, such as Simulated Annealing.
  • Support for all .NET languages, Visual Studio C++, and ActiveX (COM)-capable languages, including VBA in Microsoft Office products.
  • Support for 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems.
  • Royalty-free distribution.
No other optimization library includes all of these features. For a complete list of features please visit the new OptiGen Library website!

The new OptiGen Library is available in three different versions, each of which includes support for 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems:

  • OptiGen Library for C++
  • OptiGen Library for .NET
  • OptiGen Library for COM
See the website for a list of development environments each version supports.

OptiGen Purchase and Upgrade Information

OptiGen Library licenses can be purchased online through our Secure Online Ordering system for $495 for a single version or $795 for all versions in the OptiGen Library Bundle - that’s a savings of 53%!

NS Tip Box: Input Projection Algorithm

This NeuroSolutions Tip Box video demonstrates a new feature available in the upcoming NeuroSolutions 6.0 called Input Projection. Input Projection is a technique of dimension reduction that applies a mapping of the multi-dimensional space into a space of fewer dimensions.

The Input Projection component has several options for reducing the input data from a high dimensional to a low dimensional space including:

  • Principal Component Analysis
  • M-Dimensional Scaling
  • K Means Clustering
  • Locally Linear Embed
  • Self-Organizing Map
