Adjustable Hyperbolic Tangent DLLThe TanhAxon component has a bias vector (because it is a subclass of BiasAxon) that may be adapted during learning. However, the beta term (the slope of the sigmoidal function) is not adaptable and is the same for all PEs. This DLL modifies the TanhAxon by using adaptable instance weights to maintain a unique beta for each PE. The backpropagation dual component ("bkadjsig.dll") has a corresponding set of weights that stores the gradient information, which is used to adapt the beta terms of the activation dual.
